Reflection on Final Piece

Sadly, for my final piece I did not have the time or resources to complete it. I wanted to use a range of spray-paints and collage to create a large piece on cardboard. I was unaware of the price of spray paint but have since been keeping an eye on secondhand art websites to see if any come up so I can complete this piece and experiment with a different medium.

I was struggling to find a large enough canvas for my work to create the large scale I wanted. Finally, after a lot of scavenging I found this large piece of cardboard in the dump outside the art school. Every day I see loads of different materials in this bin and will definitely be using it for future projects.

Since I could not create the piece, I spent some time on Procreate trying to replicate what I wanted to achieve. Although this gives an idea, I don't think it fully shows what the final piece would have looked like with the addition of collage and 3D elements. I think although it is good to have ambitious ideas for your final projects you still have to be realistic and think things through which is something I need to keep in mind for the future.
